To accompany the release of Alex Alex’s debut single ‘Something Else’, filmmaker Todd MacDonald teamed up with Hip Hop and Capoeira-trained dancer Nelson Holtz to create an energetic and mesmerising video shot in a single take. Nelson pops and ticks to the track with effortless dexterity and poise as the sun sets on a castle breakwater off the coast of the Island of Jersey. The combination of song and dance charts how it feels to cut loose from familiar territory and venture into the unknown as we seek to forget the past, escape the present and define the future.
