'Snowdrops' live at The Folklore Rooms in Brighton, with the wonderful Chris Riddell live drawing 'Persephone' to the performance.
This stripped-back version of the song really focused us on Chris' words. Snowdrops is a collaboration between Winterfalle and former Children’s Laureate Chris Riddell. The song takes Chris’ heartbreaking poem on the human impact of the war in Ukraine and sets it to music so that the words might travel.
All proceeds from the release are being directed to the David Nott Foundation, which is training surgeons in Ukraine and other places in conflict around the world.
